After a warm weekend, slightly cooler temperatures are on the way for the coast and inland, but the sun will be shining down all week long.
Also on Monday, the Beach Hazard Statement for coastal communities goes into effect in the morning and lasts until early Tuesday. This means high tides could reach up to six feet in some areas which might lead to minor flooding. We recommend avoiding parking lots prone to flooding by the beaches during this window. The highest tides will come Monday morning between 8 and 9 a.m.
The coast will also likely see morning fog through at least Tuesday, possibly Wednesday. Then, come Thursday, areas west of the mountains will warm back up 5-10 degrees above average.
On Friday and Saturday, Santa Ana winds could return to inland and mountain neighborhoods.
If you live in the mountains and deserts, and like where temperatures are at right now, we have good news! They’ll stay virtually the same through your extended forecast.
Coast: 65-74°
Inland: 73-78°
